Monkey Tails: Happy Birthday Pete And Phil!

Thursday the 13th was Pete and Phil’s birthday. They turned 24! 24! I still see them as like 10 sometimes, even though they make more money than me. Lol. It is crazy hard to get together for things like this, so everyone made it but Tio. Crazy how things change when everyone works and has kids. They requested lasagna for their birthday meal so Devin and I made that, and Tia made salad and brought bread. It wasn’t a normal salad though. She tossed greens with tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese and homemade candied walnuts with a honey Dijon dressing. Um, hello! It was awesome. She also brought garlic bread. We all ate together and I had ice cream sandwiches and the boys ordered their own cake (since they were having friends over later) and so we ate cake, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream. We got Phil some dinner plates, salad plates, bowls and glasses. They have some stuff but nothing in a complete set so when I saw them, I couldn’t pass them up. We got Pete something, although I can’t reveal it yet as it is not finished. He has yet to see it. We have had several days of rain so it has been hard to do. Pete and Phil also bought a new fridge and had it delivered that day, so Aikman and Pippa colored a picture to put on their fridge. Tio and Tia got Phil a frame collage and put pics of them with the kids and individual pics of the kids to hang in their house. They bought Pete a book by Stephen King. It had to do with the assassination of JFK and just seemed to be something Pete would seriously enjoy. Happy Birthday guys! We love you all so much!

Looking at the pics, Pete technically only got two gifts lol Phil only looked like he got more, because the dishes couldn't be wrapped together. We spent the same on both. But on the flip side, Pete gets to use Phil's dishes too so it makes it fair. Lol. I will take a pic when Pete's is done and post it.
