Our weekend was very casual and relaxed. We went grocery shopping and then to have lunch. Monks is obsessed with Subway and requested it. We ate lunch and then had a little time to kill before picking Phil up from work so went to the new Big Lots. I am not a huge fan of this store, just seems dirty to me but since it is in a new location it is better but still not loving it. I do have to give it its credit though; we found a big tub of Lego’s (80 piece to be exact) for $8.00. Aikman was in heaven! He is so excited to now have so many to build with. We then walked down to Dollar Tree (even a little scarier to me) and we bought some candy and looked at the seasonal stuff. We bought Aikman some Pop Rocks to try for the first time. He was excited to put them in his mouth and once they popped he was so shocked and looked at us like what is this? He ate two pinches worth and then decided he was over them. Lol. He did enjoy his Twizzlers though.
