Home, Home On the Range.....

This is the horse Gigi bought Monks for his birthday. He loves it! It makes a neighing sound, the sound of hoofs clicking and plays the song Home on the Range. Monks has never been a hat man. When he was an infant, my obsession was shoes and hats and he had more than he could wear. He would wear a little hat but his head would get sweaty and then when he was able to take them off himself, he would. Needless to say his precious hats were not worn much. Even now, little caps and stuff don’t last more than a few seconds to get a picture. I have come to realize and accept my son is strange at times. The only hat he will keep on is his sombrero. Yes, his sombrero. Go figure. We bought it at the Mercado in San Antonio. He rode this horse for about thirty minutes this day. It rocks and if he jumps, it bounces up and down with its springs. We were able to get the cap on long enough to get a picture. Sadly it is an A&M hat Horns got him for his birthday and he looked like such a big boy but he preferred his sombrero. I have a feeling Monks will be the type of kid who wants to wear boots, pajamas, a cape and a sombrero to school. Wait that would be adorable.
