So I know I have been missing lately but it’s been a long week. I will have to post a few things today to get caught up. Starting with Devin’s birthday dinner! Devin wanted Mexican food so our menu consisted of taco salad with every topping you can think of, tex-mex egg rolls with creamy cilantro dipping sauce, seven layer dip and homemade salsa and chips. We usually make fun of Devin because on his taco salad he likes to eat it with Doritos and Catalina dressing. Did you just get asco? Sounds really nasty right? When we met Jenny we had taco salad for dinner one night and she said all it needed was Catalina dressing and it was like this little choir of angels singing “Ahhhhhhhh” to Devin. Must be a white thing. His cake was really yummy too. He loves pecan pralines and cream ice cream so we had that but Jenny also brought over some cotton candy ice cream and it was wonderful! It was a sad day in that Texas got beat, but the food and company and gifts made up for it. Devin got shirts and a Cowboys watch from Gigi, Madden from Phil, a hat and underwear and wife beaters from Andrew and Jenny, and a new phone from Monks. It was the Samsung Solstice and he just loves it. He was up until 1 in the morning playing with it and all I kept hearing were ringtones and him texting. Devin is like a little kid sometimes in that he gets really excited about stuff. It is adorable. He said that was his best birthday ever. How cute is he?

remember when he was really picky about how many buttons were on his shirt because he has all these rules about how low it can/can't be? lol at his dirty shirt too.
