So I am a little late in posting these but this was actual Halloween night. Pete was a werewolf for their Halloween party so he wore his stuff to the house. Monks loves werewolves but was sometimes a little hesitant to go to Pete when he had his mask on. Tia made her famous chili and we had Frito pie, chili dogs, veggies and dip, bacon wrapped jalapenos, chips and dip, cupcakes and cookies. We ate so much and had lots of fun. We watched Nightmare Before Christmas because that is one of Monk’s favorite movies right now. He calls it the “Ha-ween movie”. We had maybe 20 kids total come, maybe. And of those 20, half were age 16 and up. Really people? Painting your face and carrying a pillowcase is NOT a costume. When Monks got ready for bed he told everyone good night and gave kisses and then got in bed. When Devin walked out of the room Aikman was crying really hard. Devin walked over to Pete and sighed and said can I see your mask, he wants to kiss the werewolf. He kissed it and then we never heard from him again. Craziness I tell you.
