The next few days were full of deep cleaning (including shampooing carpets), putting away all Christmas decorations and taking down our tree and trying to keep a poor 2 year old comforted when he wasn’t feeling well and then occupied when he was. Poor guy was stuck inside for a week! I can’t tell you how many books we read, pictures we colored, times we watched Lion King, Shrek, The Grinch and Toy Story and played with cars. It was well worth it to know he was feeling better. At the check-up, the doctor checked him to be sure he was better and said his ears looked much better and to keep taking his medicine (it’s a ten day antibiotic). I was so nervous as he checked my Pips! I could feel that lump in my throat and just knew he would say we need to put her in the hospital. She never sounded any different to us but apparently she was better! He said her lungs were clear and that all she would have and could have for up to two weeks was a small cough or a runny nose. He said if she got to be stopped up we could do a breathing treatment and that would open her up but that she looked great! No more RSV! They did have to stay out of the sitter’s until Thursday but Devin’s schedule changed since he is no longer with his training officer and so he is off on Thursdays and Fridays now so they won’t go all week. Poor monks had been asking about Corbin and Brianna too. L He misses his friends. So all is well now in the Anderson house and both kids are a million times better! Yay! What a way to start 2012!

Pips after a treatment. Does she look sick at ALL?? As Gigi would say "Somebody's feeling better!" |

I took this pic because it made me laugh. Aikman likes to take a book with him to bed each night. He had this in his crib. Really? Because it is like a novel and it made laugh that he wanted it. At least he reads about greatness. |

Look at that arm on the crib lol. Precious baby. |
