Saturday the kids woke up and it was about 7:30 so we went
in our room and played. They looked at classic car books of Big Tio’s. We then
had breakfast and got dressed. It was muggy out but the kids wanted to go
outside so bad. Big Tio and Tia went to get Gramita and bring her to the house
so we played out front. When they got back, we sat out back and played. We hid Easter
eggs for about an hour for Monks. He loved it and was really good at finding
them. We then had lunch outside and the kids went down for their naps. While
they slept, Devin and I ran to Wal-Mart to get some things and then came back.
When everyone was up from naps, we played with chalk and bubbles outside and
did a fun project! The kids planted a jelly bean and then Monks watered them
and we put them on the table to let them grow. We then walked down to the park
and they played. Monks got so excited because we saw several deer right there on
the playground! He then turns to point them out and yells “look momma, some
deer!!” and of course they scatter. After some fun time, we headed back home to
clean up for dinner! We went, where else, but Mamacitas! Pips was mesmerized by
their starry ceiling once again. We got dessert to go. Bananas Foster Cheesecake
and White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. Wow. Yep, they were as delicious as
they sound. I think everyone liked the banana one better, but I would bathe in
both. It was then time for baths! The kids loved a big bubble bath with the jets
turned on. They were spinning and sliding all over the place! It was then time
for bed! Devin, Big Tia and I played dominoes and talked and laughed. We got in
bed around midnight and couldn’t wait to see what the Easter bunny would bring……
