Monday night we celebrated Devin’s birthday. It was actually
on September 16, but with crazy schedules and then the death of his grandpa, it
got pushed back. We went over to Mike and Jenny’s for dinner and to watch the
Cowboys. At least dinner was good. Poor Cowboys. Sigh. I had bought some pizzas
from Sams and made queso with sausage in it per Devin’s request. We also had
chips and dip and Jenny made baked chicken with the best dessert ever! She made
him a cake of ice cream sandwiches, caramel, pecans, whipped cream and hot
fudge. Hello! Deliciousness! She also made him some peanut butter chocolate
chip cookies. We just hung out and had fun (well, until the end of the game).
Pete and Phil had to work but we did get to see Pete about 10:15. He came by
after work and we left about 10:40. My monks stayed up with us the whole time!
Pips went to bed around 8 (that girl loves her sleep) and Adrian went down
about 8:30. The only pics we took that night were of Adrian and Pippa pre-game.
She of course wore her Cowboys dress and he wore his jersey. Mike, Jenny and Adrian bought Devin a new Cowboys
hat. No, he didn’t burn it, lol. Pete and Phil will be giving him his gift come
Saturday when we all go to the pumpkin patch! Happy Birthday once again Devin!
